Wiley X's Brick model is the latest addition to the Black Ops Collection and features triloid nylon frames and selenite polycarbonate lenses.
All Wiley X products are created to exceed ANSI Z87.1-2003 high velocity and high mass impact standards, meaning that the Brick's virtually unbreakable matte black frames can withstand the impact of a .25-inch diameter steel ball fired at 150fps from 20 different angles, according to the company.
The grey lenses feature T-Shell scratch resistance, are 100 percent UVA/UVB protection, and are certified to the same standard for high velocity impact and safety as the frames. The Brick also has a climate control feature and a removable facial cavity seal that keeps out debris and dust, and provides continual ventilation across the interior of the lens.
The sunglasses are prescription-ready and suitable for those with medium- to large-sized heads. Available only in matte black with grey lenses, the Brick includes a medium-sized black zippered case, a t-peg elastic strap, leash cord, and a cleaning cloth.
