The Hammerspike can be mounted onto existing shields using a proprietary kydex mounting bracket or carried by itself as an emergency breaching tool for first responders.

The tool is an alternative to heavier breaching tools that require two hands. The Hammerspike weighs less than a pound and is designed to shatter vehicle or structure glass.

The tool can be easily used with a ballistic shield and functions using the principle of economy of motion. Small swinging motions will break the glass. The breaking tip allows the operator to strike the window at any location to achieve a successful breach.

The Hammerspike retails for $120.
