A Motor officer with the Los Angeles Police Department was injured in a traffic collision on Wednesday afternoon.

A Motor officer with the Los Angeles Police Department was injured in a traffic collision on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Details regarding what led to the collision were not immediately released.
