The agency posted on Facebook , "Congratulations to K-9 Mao on successfully completing his Colorado Police K-9 Association Certification."

On his first night on patrol, K-9 Mao had six deployments and in one of those, he located two suspects who ran from a hit and run/DUI motor vehicle collision and hid from officers down an embankment in the weeds.
