North Carolina K-9 Retires from Duty

A K-9 with the Wilmington (NC) Police Department officially entered retirement during a ceremony held at the agency's headquarters on Monday.

According to WWAY-TV , K-9 Diablo served with the department for six and a half years and had worked in narcotics detection, tracking, and patrol work.

K-9 Diablo now will be adopted by his handler, Kendall Murphy.
