3 Kansas City Officers Shot and Wounded Serving Warrant

KCPD Chief Stacey Graves said the officers from the Tactical Response Team were executing a search warrant when they opened the door, they were met with gunfire.

Three Kansas City, MO, police officers were shot and wounded Tuesday night during a tactical warrant service operation.

KCPD Chief Stacey Graves said the officers from the Tactical Response Team were executing a search warrant when they opened the door, they were met with gunfire. 

KCPD Chief Stacey Graves said she had spoken with the wounded officers and they are expected to survive, Fox4KC reports.

Two suspects were taken into custody after a standoff. It was unknown if there were any additional suspects at presstime. Multiple local agencies were involved in the response.
