SymbolArts caters to fully-custom, handcrafted badges with unique designs centered on the department. The in-house art department incorporates traditional department values into the concept to create a "portal in the communities' history." The seal and banner are available in full-color and multiple layers. The badges come in a variety of designs including oval, eagle shield, star (7, 6 and 5 point), and circle star (7, 6 and 5 point). A clear coat on top of a 24K gold finish keeps the badges shiny and prevents it from dulling quickly. The back is polished rather than hollowed out and can be affixed using a spring loaded attachment.
