A vehicle pursuit of a shooting suspect in Thurston County, Washington, resulted in an injury crash Sunday afternoon when the suspect drove the wrong way on Interstate 5.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office reports on Facebook that its deputies assisted the Lacey Police during the high-speed pursuit where the suspect weaved “back and forth between lanes of traffic” on the southbound I-5.
TCSO says the suspect exited the interstate and came back down on the southbound ramp. “As they entered back onto I-5, they turned around heading northbound in the southbound lanes,” the sheriff's office says.
The suspect crashed into another vehicle and was taken into custody, police say.
Two occupants of the vehicle that the suspect reportedly hit suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and one was transported to a local hospital.
