Electronic Monitoring Company Fired After Suspect Attacks Woman

Fulton County, Ga., has cut ties to the monitoring service that was responsible for keeping tabs on a murder suspect who police said removed his ankle bracelet before brutally attacking a Chattahoochee Hills woman and her son last week.

Fulton County, Ga., has cut ties to the monitoring service that was responsible for keeping tabs on a murder suspect who police said removed his ankle bracelet before brutally attacking a Chattahoochee Hills woman and her son last week.

The monitoring company, Georgia House Arrest, has been de-listed, and any prisoners out on bond who are currently being monitored by the company will be reassigned to other companies, according to Don Plummer, spokesman for Fulton Superior Court.
