The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman who wounded a school police officer in Woodland Hills has been increased to $100,000 with a contribution from the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL).
Officer Jeffrey Stenroos was shot once in the chest at about 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, and his ballistic vest saved him from serious injury. Authorities have put out a composite sketch of the gunman.
