Video: Colo. Knife Standoff Ends Peacefully
A burglary suspect surrendered peacefully Saturday, after a standoff with Denver Police officers in which the man held a knife to his own neck.
A burglary suspect surrendered peacefully Saturday, after a standoff with Denver Police officers in which the man held a knife to his own neck.
Officers had chased the suspect across the grounds of the Governor's Mansion, after a woman came home and found a man inside her garage. The man threatened the woman and fled as officers arrived, reports the Denver Post.
The man then broke into law office and caused a standoff with police when he held a knife to his throat and threatened to harm himself. He eventually surrendered peacefully.
