Video: Cop Uses Deadly Force on Child Hostage Taker

Midwest City (Okla.) Police Chief Brandon Clabes praised the officer who saved a child by using deadly force on the man who took her hostage in a Wal-Mart in mid-June.
On Friday, Chief Clabes released video of the June 17 encounter between Capt. David Huff and Sammie Wallace, who snatched a two-year old from a shopping cart. Wallace held the child at knife point.
Wallace appeared mentally ill and made a series of bizarre comments during the 30-minute standoff. He reportedly said he was the richest man in the world and could get a Dallas Police officer there in 10 minutes, reports KFOR.
Wallace then began a countdown and moved the knife to the girl's throat. Huff walked up and shot the suspect in the head.
