Officers and command staff were forced out of the Columbus, Ohio, police headquarters Tuesday evening after a battery exploded, causing a boom that brought homeland security responders to the scene.

No one was injured in the explosion and officers returned to the Columbus Division of Police headquarters Wednesday morning. The agency's bomb squad responded to the scene, reports the Associated Press.
