A Miramar (Fla.) Police school resource officer helped a mother deliver her newborn daughter Thursday at the end of the school day.
Officer Natasha Richardson escorted Marie Lys Colin into the school's front office, after the mother went into contractions while picking up her 7-year-old son from Fairway Elementary around 1 p.m.
Officer Richardson told the Sun Sentinel her "mommy instincts just kicked in."
