The NYPD cop who was nearly beaten to death in Queens while off duty in an incident that was filmed on video has been released from hospital care, reports the New York Daily News.
Sgt. Mohammed Deen, who was in a medically induced coma following the beatdown on Nov. 17, was discharged from Mount Sinai Medical Center. “He received surgery for his facial fractures, and he’s been released,” NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Monday.
