VIDEO: Flyers Threatening Albuquerque Officers Appear in Newspapers
It's been a tumultuous few weeks for Albuquerque Police, from the protests, to the Department of Justice report. Now police say someone is making death threats against officers, and they're popping up all over the city, on light poles and in the newspaper, reports krqu.com.
Several people who get their newspaper from stands along Central Avenue near the University of New Mexico Campus said they found flyers stuffed inside copies of the Albuquerque Journal that state, "save a life, kill a cop."
Albuquerque Journal news stands have been riddled with the propaganda since Friday.
They were found stuffed inside some stands along Central near the University of New Mexico campus, posted on some light poles, even delivered to at least one officer's home.
