There will be no time off for Baltimore Police Department officers on Wednesday or next Thursday. Those are the dates for the pretrial motion hearings for the six officers charged in connection with Freddie Gray's death, reports ABC2 .
"We have to be ready in the instance of protests or anything like that. People of course have the right to protest but at the same time we just want to be prepared and that's all we're doing," says TJ Smith with the Baltimore Police Department.
