A police officer in Fox Lake, Ill., has died after being shot Tuesday morning. Police are searching for two suspects, and possibly a third.

Sources tell WGN that a Fox Lake, Ill., police officer has died after being shot Tuesday morning.
Sources tell WGN that the officer's gun and pepper spray were taken.
Meanwhile, police are searching for two suspects: one white male and one black male. There is also possibly a third suspect. Multiple helicopters and K-9s are searching this area outside Chicago.
All area schools are on lockdown.
