Two Osceola County, FL, deputies were injured late Saturday morning after a driver crashed into one of them during a funeral procession for a victim of the Pulse nightclub shooting, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
A 44-year-old woman was ticketed for failure to yield to a funeral procession, but she has not been criminally charged. She told authorities that she thought someone waived her out to cross the procession, WFTV reports.
The front of her Honda sedan struck one of the deputies head-on. The second deputy's motorcycle then struck the back of the car.
