Sergeant Michael Borland, 44, of the Pinellas County (FL) Sheriff’s Office was found dead this morning from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Sergeant Michael Borland, 44, of the Pinellas County (FL) Sheriff’s Office was found dead this morning from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Sgt. Borland was found in the parking lot of the St. Petersburg College Veterinary Technology Center in Largo at approximately 9 a.m.

The death is considered a suicide, IONTB reports.
