An officer with the Irvine (KY) Police Department was given Narcan after coming into contact with a potentially deadly narcotic during a drug arrest over the weekend.
According to WKYT-TV, Irvine Police Captain John Sturniolo was given a dose of the life-saving medicine after making the arrest of 39-year-old Josh Riddell on suspicion of trafficking and possession of heroin.
