The Kent (OH) Police Department posted on its Facebook page praise for one of its officers for resisting the temptation to accept a "bribe" of delicious Girl Scout Cookies.

The department said that they had received a handwritten note from someone regarding the parking enforcement division.

"The person who wrote the note gave Compliance Officer Gardner a great compliment," the post said.

"While he was writing a parking ticket for an expired meter, Compliance Officer Gardner refused to accept a bribe of Girl Scout cookies in exchange for not giving a ticket. While we do not accept bribes, how is it possible to refuse Girl Scout cookies? Good job Ron!"
