Starbucks executives met Monday with Tempe (AZ) Police Department officers and Chief Sylvia Moir after six of the agency's officers were asked to leave one of the company's shops July 4 because a customer felt unsafe.

Tempe Officers Association President Rob Ferraro says Starbucks again apologized for the July 4 incident, and the police officers "came away from the meeting feeling heard and respected," ABC 15 reports.
