An officer with the Mobile Police Department who was involved in a crash at an intersection on Thursday night reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
According to NBC News, the vehicle collision occurred at an intersection with flashing red lights for north and southbound traffic and yellow for the east and westbound traffic
The officer was driving west and the other car was moving north when the collision occurred. The officer's car was struck broadside on the driver's side of the vehicle.
The officer and the motorist in the other vehicle were both transported to the hospital where they were treated and released.
