An officer with the Vancouver (WA) Police Department reportedly exchanged gunfire with a motorist at a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
According to the Columbian, the man was apparently unharmed and fled the scene, sparking a manhunt throughout central Vancouver. The officer suffered minor injuries.
Police said there is not believed to be any threat to the general public although the suspected gunman remains at large.
