An officer with the Fulton (MO) Police Department was struck and injured by a suspect's vehicle, according to the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
According to KOMU-TV, an officer—whose name has not been released—was struck by a fleeing suspect on a highway during a vehicle pursuit.
Two officers fired shots at the suspect's vehicle, which fled from the scene.
The officer hit by the vehicle was stabilized at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital, where the officer is listed in stable condition.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot and remains at large, after abandoning the vehicle some distance away from where the officer was struck.
