Canadian Officer Ordered to Remove "Punisher" Patch from Uniform

An officer with the Toronto Police Service has been told that the "Punisher" patch he has affixed to his uniform must be removed "immediately" after some citizens complained about it.
According to CBR.com, the patch—which had the symbol of the comic book character as well as the phrase, "Make no mistake, I am the sheepdog"—reportedly raised the ire of some citizens, who notified command staff of the officer's addition to his uniform.
Toronto police spokesperson Meaghan Gray said in a statement that the patch "is not approved, nor appropriate."
Gray added, "This is now a matter of internal discipline, and as a result I am unable to offer anything further."
