Smith & Wesson has introduced two new series of footwear that include tactical and breach duty boots.

The Tac Series provides the best in comfort and performance, according to the company. Lightweight and loaded with features, the Tac Series was built for any mission. Included in the series are the SW8, SW8T, SW8Z, and SW8TZ.

The SW8 is a puncture-resistant tactical boot equipped with waterproof leather and nylon, and a puncture-resistant insole. It's also available as the SW8Z with an YKK side zipper. The SW8T Tactical Boot is an 8-inch tan leather and nylon boot that's also available with a convenient side zipper.

The Breach Series represents the core values of tactical footwear and it was designed for speed, according to the company. Athletic, fast, and extremely lightweight, the Breach Series offers comfort and breathability. The series is composed of the SW53, SW23Z, SW52 and SW53Z boots.

The SW53 Breach is 8 inches with black leather, and the SW52 is 6 inches with black leather. Both options are available with a zipper.

All boots feature a removable comfort PU insole and a rubber sawtooth outsole that is also slip and oil resistant. Sizes run from six to 12, as well as a 13 R/W.

While the company is best known for its firearms, Smith & Wesson says it carries over the same attention to detail that is found in its handguns to its new tactical footwear.
