Members of San Diego County police and fire departments appear in a 2006 calendar to raise money for next year’s Western States Police and Fire Games.
“San Diego County’s Calendar of Heroes” features real police officers and fire fighters against Southern California backdrops. The Western States Police and Fire Games began as the California Police & Fire Games 40 years ago in San Diego. The expanded athletic event will again take place in San Diego next year, with all proceeds from calendar sales going toward the cost of hosting the games.
