Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today the introduction of the Monadnock Classic Friction Lock Patrol Kit, incorporating three of its most popular baton products: the Classic Friction Lock baton, the Hindi Baton Cap and the Front Draw Holder. The kit allows law enforcement personnel to purchase a complete baton system at a savings over purchasing the items separately.

First in the kit is the Classic Friction Lock baton - comfortable to carry and easily opened with the flick of a wrist, then closed by striking the tip of the baton on a hard surface. It features precision Morse tapers, the tight locking joints that make the baton feel solid in the hand, and is made from cold drawn 4130 aircraft seamless alloy steel tubing for extreme durability.  Purchasers have the option of choosing either the 21-inch or the 26-inch length baton in the black chrome finish, with either the foam or Super Grip handle. Additionally, the baton features the Power Safety Tip, which provides a larger, more effective striking force.

Secondly, for effective baton retention, the Front Draw Holder is made of durable polycarbonate and employs tension springs to hold the baton in place. The clip-on holder, offered in either a 360 degree swivel or 45 degree locking design, allows the baton to be drawn quickly from any direction and re-holstered while the baton is open or closed.

To round out the package, the Hindi Baton Cap, one of the latest advancements in baton technology, enhances performance by offering a larger surface area, improving striking power and producing a greater energy transfer. The design allows for a reliable baton grip and improved control, and helps the officer easily locate the baton while on the belt for even quicker drawing.

Available now, the Classic Friction Lock Patrol Kit is offered in two lengths and eight different configurations.
