POLICE-TREXPO East's keynote panel scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday will feature a panel of experts discussing the "unholy trinity" of threats at the U.S.-Mexico border.

An alliance has formed between jihadists, drug cartels and American street gangs along the southern border, according to the experts. This threat represents the most credible target of attack to the U.S., and experts will present an eye-opening debrief that focuses on issues that impact every law enforcement official and American citizen.

The panel will present information on American international gangs, the vulnerability of American youth, an inside look at the drug wars, drug and human trafficking cartels, the occult worship of the Mexican underworld, Mexican military incursions into the U.S., the kidnapping epidemic, missing persons on both sides of the border, and the alarming asylum crisis.

The panel will be moderated by Los Angeles County Sheriff's DepartmentSgt. Richard Valdemar (Ret.), who writes about gangs for POLICE.

The panelists include Zapata County (Texas) Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez, Hudspeth County (Texas) Sheriff Arvin West, as well as Joe Preciado, a Border Patrol agent in the Yuma (Ariz.) Sector's Intelligence Unit.
