Point Blank to Showcase New Tactical Modular Armor at NTOA 2022

Point Blank Enterprises will be demonstrating its newest innovations in tactical armor systems, carrier designs and hard-armor products at the 2022 National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Tactical Operations Conference Sept. 25-26 at the Wisconsin Convention Center in Milwaukee.

NTOA attendees are invited to view the latest capabilities at the Point Blank booth (#301), including the new Paraclete Origin elite tactical platform with Alpha Elite ballistic system.

Over the past 8 years, nearly 700,000 Alpha Elite ballistic systems have been provided to American law enforcement. Alpha Elite was introduced in 2013 as the first body armor designed with Dyneema Force Multiplier technology. Alpha Elite was engineered to defeat high-velocity handgun rounds and fragmentation with minimal backface deformation and with multi-hit protection. During independent testing, the Alpha Elite ballistic package exceeded all performance requirements, Point Blank says.

“The last several years of success have clearly positioned Alpha Elite ballistic systems as the armor of choice for American law enforcement across the country. We want to continue that same success by featuring Alpha-Elite ballistics in our all new Origin Tactical platform by Paraclete,” says Michael Foreman, executive vice president of Point Blank Enterprises.

The new Origin modular vest platform allows operators to quickly configure the platform from a low-vis concealment vest, up to a full coverage tactical vest and several iterations in between. SWAT team commanders, now have the ability to provide their team members with one, base platform that can be employed in wide variety of different configurations, Point Blank says. “This not only affords each team member the ability to customize their armor based on their individual preferences and tasking, the Origin platform goes well beyond and eliminates the additional logistics and added expense of purchasing several different vests which can only be used for specific missions.”

In 2013, Point Blank introduced the first ballistic systems designed with Dyneema Force Multiplier Technology called Alpha Elite. The Alpha Elite was engineered to defeat high-velocity handgun rounds and fragmentation with minimal backface deformation and with multi-hit protection. During independent testing, the Alpha Elite ballistic package exceeded all performance requirements, Point Blank says.

All NTOA Conference attendees will have an opportunity to meet representatives from both Point Blank and Dyneema as they sponsor the Welcome Reception held on Monday evening (6:30 p.m.) on Sept. 26 at the Harley Davidson Museum.
