New Jersey K-9 and Handler Retire Simultaneously

A K-9 and his handler retired simultaneously from the Vineland (NJ) Police Department on Sunday.

According to the Daily Journal , Sergeant William Bontcue had served the department for 25 years, joining the ranks in 1994. His K-9 partner Yoshi joined the agency in 2012.

During his tenure, Sergeant Bontcue helped raise the profile of the K-9 unit through community engagement.
