The National Latino Peace Officers Association is hosting "Patron Saints of the Mexican Drug Underworld," a law enforcement training symposium scheduled for May 17.

Other areas of coverage include occult shrines, objects of worship, power beliefs and behaviors, gang symbols and icons, affiliations and tattoos, beheadings and murder, border violence, kidnapping and narco terrorism.
The training runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pacific Palms Resort, One Industry Hills Parkway, City of Industry, Calif. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. For more information or to sign up, visit the NLPOA Web site .
