Multiple Police Agencies Respond to Shooting in Mississippi

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, law enforcement officers were serving an arrest warrant on Hasheem Rutherford of Ripley for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as breaking and entering, WTVA-TV reports .

Officers from the Tippah County Sheriff's Department, Ripley Police Department, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the call.

SWAT eventually made entry into the home, and Rutherford was taken into custody without incident.
