KelTec has officially discontinued production of the P11 pistol, which it calls the very first 9mm polymer pistol designed for concealed carry. The company will continue to honor the P11 warranty, so original owners can still expect full-coverage servicing while replacement parts are still available.

Before KelTec innovated the P11 in 1995, concealed carry weapons were commonly revolvers and heave steel-frame semi-automatics. These guns were bulky and carried a relatively small amount of ammunition.

With the introduction of the P11, came a never-seen-before lightweight, subcompact framed pistol with 10 rounds of 9mm in a flush fit magazine, says KelTec.

Over the years, these features were replicated by manufacturers of all sizes, making the P11 one of the most copied handguns since its release in 1995. At the end of the P11's 24-year run, KelTec produced 300,000 units.

Complete KelTec P11 warranty, servicing, parts and accessories details can be found at keltecweapons.com/discontinued/ .
