Houston Motor Officer Struck, Suffers Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

A motor officer with the Houston Police Department was struck and injured by a pickup truck on Saturday night, leaving the officer with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to KHOU-TV, the officer was stopped at an intersection when he was struck by the vehicle, which then fled the scene.

The vehicle was later located and the driver taken into custody.

Charges against the driver—whose name has not yet been released—have not been announced.
