Franklin Armory Acquires Osprey Defense

Firearm and trigger manufacturer Franklin Armory recently purchased Osprey Defense for its uniquely designed piston systems and accessories for the AR platform. The seller in this transaction, Ark Defense, presented the opportunity at SHOT Show this past January, and Franklin Armory jumped at the chance to acquire the well designed, patented products.

The all-cash transaction included the patent and existing inventory. All future operations will be conducted from the Franklin Armory facilities in Minden, Nevada, and the company anticipates completing the move to Minden and making existing Osprey Defense OPS-416 piston kits available sometime in quarter 3 of this year.
