An officer with the Sanibel (FL) Police Department was injured on Sunday afternoon when the ATV he was driving collided with another vehicle.
According to the News-Press , the officer—whose name has not yet been released—was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office is conducting the investigation into the incident.
