Columbia County SO reported on Facebook early Tuesday that 24 hours of searching had failed to find the German shepherd, even though the search included helicopters, drones, and bloodhounds.
But shortly after that post K-9 Chaos was spotted by a civilian.
“A huge thank you to the citizen who spotted him and called us! Also, we would like to thank everyone who helped look for him and shared this information. We are glad to have Chaos back home!” the agency said on Facebook.
