A Dallas Fire & Rescue EMT and an unidentified civilian were wounded in a shooting in east Dallas, Monday morning.
Emergency crews responded to a call around 11:30 when they came under fire.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said as paramedics were beginning treatment on a shooting victim, a suspect approached and opened fire.
The EMT who was shot was rushed to Baylor Medical Center. The EMT remains in critical but stable condition, CBS DFW reports.
Police, including SWAT teams, are looking for a suspect they say is a bald man and may be walking with a limp, wearing dark green shirt and jeans. He may be armed with a rifle.
After an intense manhunt, the suspect was found dead from a "self-inflicted wound" in a nearby home searched by a police robot, said Mayor Mike Rawlings, reports CNN .
A second deceased person was found in the same home. Police have not released the identities of the dead.
Rawlings says the threat to the neighborhood is over.
