5.11 Tactical Series, maker of innovative uniform and tactical gear for law enforcement, military, and public safety professionals, has introduced a half-dozen versatile, functional, affordable new jackets. Like 5.11's existing outerwear, the new models feature the company's patented Back-up Belt System (BBS) to stow extra gear, as well as YKK zippers and 5.11's breathable, waterproof fabrics.

Starting at $99.99, the new Lined Duty Jacket is designed with both classic duty appearance and 5.11 innovation; it comes in both men's and women's versions. "A women's fit in a duty jacket has never been done before," says 5.11 Tactical CEO Dan Costa. "This isn't just a smaller men's jacket, it's an entirely new pattern made especially for female officers."

The jacket features a sturdy, fleece-lined, sealed-seam waterproof nylon shell, bi-swing shoulders, bellowed front patch pockets, a sleeve pocket, and hidden handwarmer pockets. It's available for women in dark navy and black, and for men in Sheriff green, classic brown, dark navy, and black. With purchase, buyers also receive a free ANSI-rated traffic vest valued at $40. The Lined Duty Jacket joins 5.11's women's cut uniforms, tactical pants, tactical shorts, and polos.

Stay warm, dry, and comfortable in 5.11's Specialist Jacket. Welded and seam-sealed triple-layer laminated microfiber blocks wind and water, yet is durable and breathable. Features include epaulets, a badge tab, side zippers, and front patch pockets. Inside is a removable, wind-resistant fleece liner, nylon panels, and a knit collar and cuffs for added warmth. Its base purchase price of $249.99 includes an ANSI II traffic vest.

A new and improved, updated style characterizes the ANSI III-rated High-Vis Reversible Jacket, which reverses to solid black. The durable nylon shell is built from 5.11's High Performance waterproof/breathable seam-sealed construction and the high-visibility exterior shell is finished with 3M Scotchlite reflective tape. The jacket is available from $119.99.

5.11's sturdy Sabre Jacket is based on a lightweight, tri-layer microfiber shell that is windproof, waterproof, and breathable. Welded seams lock out rain and snow. Priced from $169.99, it includes concealed ID panels, six external pockets, a removable hood, and a free traffic vest.

Stay comfortable on those blustery, cool days with the Tactical Fleece Jacket. Wind-resistant with an abrasion-resistant collar, shoulders, and elbows, this sharp-looking jacket is complete with interior pockets and zippered exterior handwarmer pockets. It's affordably priced as low as $89.99.

Also in the new outerwear collection is 5.11's ultra-lightweight Packable Jacket, priced from only $19.99. Available with or without a reflective POLICE, SHERIFF, or SECURITY imprint, this rain- and wind-resistant jacket stores in its own compact pouch.

Pre-orders are available for all of 5.11's new jackets, both online and through local 5.11 full line dealers.
