Anritsu delivers the close-in phase noise performance needed to characterize 6.25 kHz LMR systems at an affordable price. You no longer need an expensive high-end spectrum analyzer to measure the out-of-band emission or adjacent channel power ratio for your narrowbanding needs. The MS2830A signal analyzer supports the same level of close-in phase noise capability as high-end models. Anritsu Company has also introduced three software packages supporting LTE-Advanced and five packages supporting IEEE802.11ac that extend the analysis capability of its MS269xA/MS2830A signal analyzers.

The TPT R7 NiMH Rechargable Full-Size Duty Flashlight from 5.11 Tactical features an intelligent switch that allows you to pick one of three modes: high, low, and strobe. On high, it puts out 504 lumens and 17,467 candela for 5.5 hours. On low, the TPT R7 has an output of 182 lumens, and the strobe mode puts out the full 504 lumens. Tested to ANSI FL1 standard, the light features a polymer PC/ABS body, NiMH (full D) rechargeable batteries, Cree XM-L LED technology, and a regulated circuit for maximum output. Law enforcement agencies typically purchase K-9s from trainers or dealers who acquire them from Europe, where legacy blood lines have been long established. Breeds most commonly used for detection and apprehension include the Belgian Malonois, German Shepherd, Dutch Shepherd, and a variety of Labradors. Dogs can be single purpose (for apprehensions) or dual purpose for apprehensions and detection for narcotics, explosives, or cadavers. Read "K-9 Training Challenges" for more detail. The backseat units provide a variety of means for securing prisoners, and are available with or without wiring channel adaptation. Boston Motor Patrol
Boston celebrated two centennials in 2012—the building of Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox and the founding of the Boston Police Department's motor unit, which is known as the Mobile Operations Patrol (MOP) unit. WatchGuard Video's 4RE HD Wireless In-Car Video System offers more than three times the image resolution of conventional systems. It first records onto an automotive-grade hard drive, and then onto a secure USB flash drive. Video files can be uploaded wirelessly using an industrial grade 802.11n antenna. File uploads, configuration updates, and firmware upgrades are fully automatic and 'hands-free' to the officer. The system's high-fidelity wireless microphone records clear audio, which can be extremely important in capturing audio for evidence.
