Looking for a gift idea for fellow cops? Check out 12 of the most requested items in a POLICE Magazine holiday survey. For the last few holiday seasons, the editors of POLICE Magazine have gotten together, brainstormed gift ideas for law enforcement officers, and published what we call a holiday wish list. This year, we decided to use a different protocol. We surveyed a large segment of our readers and asked them what they want for Christmas. We got a lot of answers. Deputy Dalton Swanger responded to a 911 call about a shooting around 10:15 p.m. Saturday. The suspect was at the scene and reportedly struck Deputy Swanger with a rock or brick causing grave injury.
