Muslim Guardsman Accused of Planning to Bomb L.A. Subway
Nicholas Teausant, 20, of Acampo, who allegedly had discussed plans to bomb the subway in Los Angeles around New Year's Day, was taken into custody in Blaine, Wash., after arriving by bus and an Amtrak train from Lodi.

"Officer Morrissy was responding to assist another officer on a domestic situation and was attempting to turn left off of 160th Street onto Cicero Avenue when another vehicle traveling south on Cicero Avenue struck the squad car in the driver's side," according to a statement from the Oak Forest police department.

Carjacking Suspect Killed, Officer Injured in Phoenix Incident
Phoenix police say the incident began as a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle in north Phoenix. The pursuit continued into downtown Phoenix, where the suspects pulled into an underground garage at CityScape, bailed and carjacked another vehicle.
