2 Baltimore Officers Working with Marshals Shot, Suspect Killed

Two Baltimore Police officers working with the U.S. Marshals Service were shot in Baltimore Tuesday morning, and the suspect has died, the Baltimore County Police Department says.

Two Baltimore Police officers working with the U.S. Marshals Service were shot in Baltimore Tuesday morning, and the suspect has died, the Baltimore County Police Department says.

That suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Justin Powell of Baltimore. He was wanted on a murder warrant and a handgun warrant, according to police.

The officers' wounds are not believed to be life-threatening, a source tells 7News. One was shot in the arm. The other one was struck in the arm and leg.
