Colorado Dispatcher Told to Stay at Home by Neighbor's Nasty Note

Heather Silchia, who works the graveyard shift at JeffCom 911, says a note was left on the windshield of her car chiding her for leaving her home during the pandemic and for putting her children in daycare.

A Jefferson County, CO, emergency dispatcher was recently "shamed" by her neighbor for going to work.

Heather Silchia, who works the graveyard shift at JeffCom 911, says a note was left on the windshield of her car chiding her for leaving her home during the pandemic and for putting her children in daycare.

Because Silchia does not wear a uniform to work, the neighbor assumed her job was "non-essential," KDVR reports.
