An officer with the Charleston (SC) Police Department suffered minor injuries when a suspected drunk driver crashed into a patrol vehicle, sending the squad into her as she was involved in an accident investigation.

According to CBS News, Probationary Police Officer Nicole Ramser had just gotten out of her patrol vehicle when the driver—identified as William Love—crashed into her car, which then careened into her, knocking her down and sending her into a retaining wall.

Ramser was transported to a nearby hospital where she was treated and released.

Love was charged with driving under the influence.
