Video: Florida Deputy Dragged 100 Yards by Vehicle at Traffic Stop

A deputy with the Seminole County (FL) Sheriff's Office was dragged 100 yards by a man driving an SUV that had illegally tinted windows.

A deputy with the Seminole County (FL) Sheriff's Office was dragged 100 yards by a man driving an SUV that had illegally tinted windows.

According to WESH-TV, Deputy Aaron Blais was eventually shaken from the vehicle and suffered minor injuries upon hitting the ground beside the freeway onramp.

The incident, which happened Saturday, was captured on body-worn and dash-mounted cameras.

The driver—identified as Rocky Rudolph Jr.—was located and arrested after an extensive search. Rudolph has 15 felony convictions and eight misdemeanor convictions. He is currently hospitalized for a gunshot wound to the leg, but will be transferred to a local jail upon his release.
