An officer with the St. Louis Police Department reportedly drew his TASER and directed it at his patrol partner in late February.

According to Fox News, 34-year-old Christopher Childers allegedly threatened to deploy his TASER on a female police officer who was driving a patrol vehicle at the time.

The female officer—who has not been named—reportedly told police she was afraid she was going to lose control of the patrol car.

The matter has prompted both criminal and internal affairs investigations.

Criminally, Childers is facing fourth-degree assault charges. He could also be terminated from the department.
